NOISE is Product 01 because search offers the right first test for the NAVINES system thesis. The source is first-party. The work is measurable. The feedback loop is visible. The limits are also clear enough to state without theatre.
The hosted NOISE MCP/plugin connects Google Search Console properties authorized by the user to ChatGPT and Codex. It uses Google’s read-only Search Console scope and exposes seven bounded read-only tools. The system can investigate available performance evidence, compare relevant periods and dimensions, surface opportunities, and turn findings into prioritized work.
NOISE does not edit Search Console. It does not change a website. It does not guarantee rankings, traffic, profit, or a complete explanation for why performance moved.
Current status
Version 1.0.0 exists and is working in private developer testing. NAVINES can arrange a private installation by request. It has been submitted for OpenAI review. Public release is not yet generally available and remains subject to that review, account eligibility, workspace settings, permissions, and service availability.
The distinction matters because “submitted” is not “approved.” NAVINES does not describe itself as an official OpenAI partner, approved plugin, or certified system. The accurate labels are developer mode, OpenAI review pending, not generally available, and Search Console access read only.
The current public NOISE page also describes a local Chrome extension. That extension and the hosted Search Console path are separate products with separate data behavior. The extension analyzes a user-selected page locally and can export a repair brief. It does not have Search Console data. The hosted MCP uses an authorized Google connection. Claims such as “local processing” and “no account” apply to the extension, not automatically to the hosted connector.
What the connection changes
Without data, a model can still explain search concepts and suggest diagnostic steps. With an authorized Search Console connection, the system can inspect available observations rather than asking the user to copy screenshots or export spreadsheets. It can focus on the pages, queries, countries, devices, and date comparisons that matter to the investigation.
Google’s Search Analytics API documentation also defines a hard truth: results are not guaranteed to be complete or real time. The API returns top rows, and fresh data may be incomplete or change. NOISE must preserve that limitation in the work it produces.
The loop today and tomorrow
NOISE today supports four parts of the loop: connect, observe, prioritize, and support recurring work. Where OpenAI scheduled tasks are available, Codex or ChatGPT can return later and use installed plugins or connected sources. Scheduling is a platform capability, not a NOISE feature.
The destination is broader: a governed closed loop that can act, check, and adapt. Reaching it requires more than adding write access. It requires approvals, evaluation, reversible actions, state, auditability, and credible failure handling. NAVINES will not label that destination “available” before it has been built and tested.
Google Analytics and additional first-party sources are under exploration. There is no launch date. Any expansion will depend on technical feasibility, platform policy, user permission, and evidence that the connection improves a real workflow.
What remains uncertain
OpenAI review timing and outcome are unknown. Public availability, plan support, permissions, and scheduling features can vary. Search Console data has documented limits, and analysis can still be mistaken. The seven hosted tools are bounded, but an authenticated end-to-end connection should be assessed in the user’s own environment before relying on it for consequential decisions.
